some history

Doll’s Cottage is located in the heart of Doolin village on the west coast of Ireland. Doolin is famed worldwide for its traditional Irish music, this is the place to come if you want to experience the heart of Irish culture!

The name Doll’s Cottage comes from the owner - Séan O’ Connor, who’s mother who was lovingly known as Doll. With her husband Gus they ran Gus O’ Connors pub (which is only a stones through away from Doll’s Cottage) for decades. She was famed for her hospitality and warmth, a tradition Séan is carrying on here.

Ours is not a grand modern hotel, but rather a cosy, quaint and traditional house where you will instantly feel at ease, and at home. Unique decorations and artwork grace the walls showing the history Doolin as well as Séans previous career as an antiques dealer.
